Sony Ericsson W850i - Mobile Phone Reviews with Phone Critic

I have had many makes & models of phone, & although it's getting dated with advances in technology the W850i for me must take center stage as a Sony masterpeice, with little in the recent reages to match it - (only major issue is why Phone manufacturers insist in changing the memory format. The W85i is a pleasure to use, great battery life - (even after over a year of abuse...i have never switched it off, yet still manage on average a couple of days between charges, on a 700 mins / month plan. Slide action still workes without issue, whereas previous sliders have fouled up by now. Average quality photos with the 2.0megapixel camera. But overall even though my wife thinks its a brick good solid size & weight. - For me this has to rate as a good 9.5 out of ten!!!

The ability to back up info to the memory stick is very fast efficient and invaluble for those like me who have hundreds of contacts, but no idea what they are...loose them at your perill. Another fav feature is the earphones, these are very comfortable and easy to use...so much so my son has nicked them for his ipod.

Well done Sony Ericsson!!! - However can we please revert to proper buttons again, (as subsequent models have those horid little raised ones) - otherwise I might have to update to a different brand!!!
