THis phone stylish and sleek. it may be quite big but adds a good effect to the design. the camera is superb with many edetiing tools. the touch screen is excellent and has a pen to use so the screen does not get dirty. This phone is also 3g so good for surfing the net. I highly recomend it!

I love my LG Viewty, the best phone i have ever had! The camera is a slight let down but i dont use it too much, it doesnt really bother me! The video on it is really good quality and you can record for ages! The touch screen is definatly the best feature, i love, i find it fun to use my phone now! Lots of people say it is hard to text, and yes it is at the beginning but once you have got the hang of it its really easy! I hear lots of people saying that when you are on the phone it echos what you are saying, and yes that sometimes happens to me but its only when i have bad signal, it happens with all phones! I think that this phone is just brilliant and if you are thinking of buying this then do, i am sure you will love it as much as i do! x

I've had a lot of phones, but ive got to say this is by the far the best. I find my fingers work better than the pen although to master the art of a touch ohone i would advise the pen to start with. The camrae evrybodys says bad things about, Its not the greatest but it says 5 megapixel yes it could be better but its not the worst camrae on a phone ive had. I love this phone i find it easy to esy and great for reminders and planning stuff. Its like everything you need in one. I strongly recommend it

I thought long and hard about getting this phone - and to be honest I'm not sure I made the right choice! It looks lovely and basic use is fine - making/receiving calls and texts. Photo quality is not good - I expected much better from a 5mp camera, but blurry is what I get. Apart from wanting a good phone / text facility the camera is what made me choose this one in favour of the Samsung Tocco and the Motorola V8. Instructions not very user friendly - ok I am a bit of a technophobe but I am not stupid. Well I didn't think I was? Can't find where (or if) I can assign specific ringtones to specific contacts. The Manual appears to be a bit of a minefield. It's going to take me some considerable time to learn - oh well, I 've got 18 months I suppose. Battery life on the Viewty is quite restricted. Is it just me or are others struggling with this phone?? While I like attractive phones I try not to be tempted by models which are beyond my comprehension; I think I may be struggling for some time to come with this one though unless there is someone who can help me with it! Ah well - back to basics.

As a 57-yr old Mac-user I nearly didn't get the Viewty as it isn't compatible, nor does it have a sync'ing suite. LG gives no support & are blatantly disinterested in anyone with a Mac! Then I got an Intel MacBook, so knew I could download files to the VM & send them to iPhoto etc. I wanted an iPhone but Orange is better coverage here so I don't want to go to T-Mobile. The Viewty often registers no cover in places which I KNOW are fine for Orange, which can be irritating. My 1'st Viewty was VERY hot & terrifyingly 'blew up' in my ear, a bit like a lightning strike, leaving me with v. bad ringing noises. It even banged & cracked loudly AFTER removing battery! The replacement seems much cooler, so I hope it was a one-off. I love this phone tho I struggle with the different menu which uses some confusing & illogical terminology/icons. I'm getting used to it so it isn't critical. I got the Viewty for the camera, which is very good but not brilliant. A 'proper' camera is still better but not as spontaneous. The screen is excellent, & the battery life is very good unless using video, when it is terrible. It's not really a phone which can be used single-handedly as the keys are at the bottom & it's hard to hold the slippery case confidently. I'd prefer a matt case & lens cover as I'm constantly worried the phone will slip out of my hand, 'tho the build is extremely good quality and not at all plastic-y like some other well-known makes. OK, I can buy a skin but having had a rubbery PEBL it would be better to have a matt casing to start with. The lock feature is annoying but can be reset. I don't bother with the stylus as I'm used to using my iTouch, and I don't have tiny hands either! Overall, I'm VERY happy with my Viewty & it has A1 style/street cred too! A Mac-pal has bought a Viewty thanks to me & we both feel it's a very good substitute for the iPhone. Trivia: All the leather cases for the Viewty are currently only available in black, brown or one boring deep red - just find me a girlie pink leather case to match my iTouch case and I'll be sorted!

This phone is very underated, yes the camera is not very good, the pictures can be very blury at times, but saying that when you upload them onto your pc, they somehow turn out really good, ive took some fantastic pics on it, but only 50%turn out this good.
but the video camera is another story, its amazing, the picture quality is fantastic, sound is superb, and uploaded looks brilliant. so hats off to them for that one.
the touch screen is probably its best feature, it is superb, how on earth paople moan about it i dont know, its fast, accurate, and does the job. even with the protective screen on it it works a treat. calls are very clear, messaging on mms is insanely fast if you text as much as i do, once you get used to the touch screen you can do away with the stylus and use your fingers, its much quicker.
the internet is atually faster than my damn lap top!!!, how on earth it does that beggers belief, its fantastic for internet.
over all, this phone is the best i have ever had, the only down point is the camera, and the battery, it runs dry fast.
but a great phone, very well made

    Gets the job done

I got my phone last year (oct 07) & feel I would be lost without it, although I do feel this with every phone ive had, the features are suited to my busy lifestyle and hve found some of the features a god send when it comes to planning my work life, home life & the little bit of social life I have lol, im not to impressed with the camera though as I use to have the k800i sony which had a fantastic camera for its smal 3.2mp but I must add I dont use it much for that any-way, the batt life could also be improved as prolonged use can run it down quiet fast although i can hear voice calls clearly & voive mail, I get a fast internet service when Im online using my phone & think the wide screen helps with that. over all I would recomend this phone to other people who have the time or are a little gadget savy as it can be quiet fiddly at first, but once mastered its childs play, I also found it helped & worked faster to use my fingers rather than the pen provided. Hats of to you lg, keep up the good work & my next phone will be a upgrade on this phone.
